CHIEF UCHE AJA DARES GOV. OKEZIE…CLAIMS WHAT HE TOLD ABIA REPORTAGE WAS IN CONFIDENCE.

In a daring move by Chief Uche Aja of Ukwa East, he insists on standing by his claims that Gov. Okezie Ikpeazu has failed Ukwa East. You will recall that he had expressed his displeasure over how the Governor was running the affairs of the state. While chatting with our reporter over the phone, he pointed out that his initial discussions with our reporter was a personal thing. He posited that the reporter erred in publishing what ordinarily was a private discussion.

The tension the election that is still 2 years away is causing seem to be reaching an early crescendo in Abia south. In-depth investigations revealed where Chief Uche Aja seem to derive his strength and courage from. Though he refused to mention the people he was working with as he previously promised, anonymous sources disclosed that on the 25^th of June, 2017 he was in a very strategic meeting with a few Ukwa East “heavy weights”  which included and Abuja based politician. This meeting took place in a hotel in Aba, Abia State. The aim of the meeting is to counter emerging groups in Ukwa East and decimate politicians in Abia South.

But it’s easy to tell that Chief Uche Aja, who is the arrow head of the meeting is aggrieved and upset with the present governor. This could affect the political direction in Ukwa as he may be planning to leave the party. AR
