OKEZIE, LIKE TA ORJI HAS FAILED UKWA EAST - CHIEF UCHE AJA

The Abia State political landscape is heating up with people plotting to subvert others and while making plans to replace them. Clandestine meeting are being held here and there, in the deep of the night with what seem to be attempts at taking critical decisions on the political path to follow. This seem to be the notion of an Ukwa East politician, Chief Uche Aja.

Reacting recently to the political equation that is playing out in Abia State, Chief Uche Aja, an Ukwa East member of caucus has lashed out at the governor of Abia State, Dr Okezie Ikpeazu decrying his mode of governance. He opined that the governor is not doing enough for Ukwa East particularly and Abia South in general.

When pointed to physical evidence of infrastructures and human development which the governor had spent lean resourses to achieve, Chief Aja who was a Caretaker Committee Chairman under Gov. T. A. Orji claimed that what was on ground wasn't enough. "We know that the country has faced challenges recently but we also have a fair idea of what this government has received" He asserted. He also said that his group had just finished meeting with some key individuals in his local government whom he said he will disclose to AbiaReportage in his next chat and they had fine tuned arrangements to redirect affairs in Abia State.

It will be noted that about 4 weeks ago, the former governor of Abia State, Orji Uzo Kalu was in Ukwa East for the declaration of a prominent son of Ndoki in governing the state. It is not clear, however if Chief Uche Aja's claim of having some Ndoki people behind him and their quest to 'redirect' the state is linked to this. AbiaReportage shall keep you posted. AR
